Toor Dal Fry
Homestyle pigeon pea dal with garlic and cumin.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Toor Dal
- 3 cups Water
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 Green Chili, slit
- 1 Onion, sliced
Instructions
- Pressure cook Toor Dal with water, salt, and turmeric.
- In a pan, heat ghee. Add cumin seeds, garlic, and green chili. Sauté until garlic is golden.
- Add sliced onions and cook until translucent. Pour this tempering over the dal. Simmer and serve.
