Oats & Moong Dal Khichdi
A supremely comforting and healthy one-pot meal, perfect for a light dinner.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Yellow Moong Dal
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 Carrot, chopped
- 1/4 cup Green Peas
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- Tempering: Ghee/Oil, Cumin Seeds, Hing
Instructions
- Dry roast the oats for 2 minutes and set aside.
- In a pressure cooker, heat ghee or oil and add cumin seeds and hing.
- Sauté carrots and peas for a minute. Add rinsed moong dal, roasted oats, turmeric, salt, and 3 cups of water.
- Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles. Serve hot with a dollop of ghee (optional).
