Moong Dal Pakoda
Iconic crispy fritters made from moong dal, perfect for a rainy day.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Moong Dhuli, soaked
- 1 Onion, sliced
- 1 Green Chili, chopped
- 1 inch Ginger, grated
- A pinch of Asafoetida (Hing)
- Oil for deep frying
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Grind the soaked moong dal into a coarse, thick paste without adding water.
- Add sliced onion, green chili, ginger, hing, and salt to the paste. Whisk for a minute to aerate the batter.
- Heat oil in a deep pan. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and deep fry on medium heat until golden and crisp.
- Serve hot with green chutney or ketchup.
