Moong Dal Namkeen

A classic crunchy, salty, and addictive dry snack perfect for tea time.

Moong Dal Namkeen

Serves: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Moong Dhuli
  • Oil for deep frying
  • 1/2 tsp Chaat Masala
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Soak moong dhuli for at least 4 hours. Drain completely and pat dry on a cloth for 30 minutes.
  2. Deep fry the dal in hot oil on a medium flame until it becomes crisp and lightly golden.
  3. Drain the excess oil on a paper towel. While it's still warm, sprinkle with salt and chaat masala and toss well.
  4. Let it cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
