Masoor Dal Curry
Simple red lentil curry with mild spices.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Masoor Dal (Red Lentils)
- 3 cups Water
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 1 Tomato, chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
Instructions
- Rinse and boil Masoor Dal with water, turmeric, salt, and tomato until soft.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let them splutter.
- Pour the tempering over the cooked dal. Garnish with fresh coriander.
