Dal Tacos

A spicy and hearty masoor dal filling, perfect for a fun taco night.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Masoor Dal
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 Tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp Taco Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Chili Powder
  • 8 Tortillas
  • Toppings: Lettuce, Cheese, Salsa

Instructions

  1. Cook masoor dal with water until soft but not mushy. Drain any excess water.
  2. In a pan, sauté onions and tomatoes. Add taco seasoning and chili powder.
  3. Add the cooked dal and mash lightly. Cook for 5 minutes until the filling is thick.
  4. Warm the tortillas and fill them with the spicy dal mixture and your favorite toppings.
