Dal Samosa

A delicious twist on the classic, with a crispy pastry and chana dal stuffing.

Ingredients

  • For stuffing: 1/2 cup cooked Chana Dal, mashed
  • Spices: Cumin, Chili Powder
  • For dough: 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Ajwain

Instructions

  1. Prepare samosa dough with flour, oil, ajwain, salt and water. Let it rest.
  2. Prepare the stuffing by mixing mashed chana dal with spices.
  3. Roll out the dough, cut, and form into cones. Fill with the dal mixture and seal.
  4. Deep fry the samosas on low-medium heat until golden brown.
