Dal Quesadilla

A quick and cheesy whole wheat wrap stuffed with a savory moong dal filling.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked Yellow Moong Dal, thick
  • 4 Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped Bell Peppers
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Powder
  • Ghee or Butter

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cooked dal with bell peppers and cumin powder.
  2. Place a tortilla on a heated pan. Spread half of the dal mixture on one side and top with cheese.
  3. Fold the other half over and cook on both sides with a little ghee until golden and the cheese is melted.
  4. Cut into wedges and serve with salsa or yogurt.
