Dal Pizza Base

Gluten-free pizza crust made from moong dal.

Dal Pizza Base

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Moong Dhuli, soaked
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Italian Herbs
  • Pizza toppings of choice

Instructions

  1. Soak moong dal for 4 hours. Grind into a smooth, thick batter without much water.
  2. Add salt, baking soda, and herbs to the batter. Mix well.
  3. Grease a pan and pour the batter to form a thick base. Cook on low heat on both sides until crisp.
  4. Top with pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings. Bake or cook in the pan until cheese melts.
