Dal Pancakes (Cheela)

Dal Pancakes (Cheela)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Moong Dhuli, soaked
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Tomato, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped Coriander
  • 1 Green Chili, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Grind the soaked moong dal into a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
  2. Add chopped onion, tomato, coriander, green chili, and salt to the batter. Mix well.
  3. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladleful of batter, spreading it into a thin circle.
  4. Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook on both sides until golden brown. Serve with chutney.
