Dal Dhokli

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Toor Dal
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 tsp Ajwain (Carom Seeds)
  • Spices: Turmeric, Chili Powder
  • 1 piece Jaggery
  • 1 piece Kokum

Instructions

  1. Prepare a sweet and sour Toor Dal. Keep it thin.
  2. Knead a firm dough with wheat flour, ajwain, and spices. Roll thin and cut into diamond shapes (dhokli).
  3. Bring the dal to a boil and add the dhokli pieces. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the dhokli is cooked through.
