Dal Cutlets

Crispy, pan-fried patties made with cooked chana dal and spices.

Dal Cutlets

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chana Dal, soaked and boiled
  • 2 Boiled Potatoes, mashed
  • 1 tsp Ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • Breadcrumbs for coating
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Coarsely grind the boiled chana dal.
  2. Mix the ground dal with mashed potatoes, ginger-garlic paste, and garam masala. Season with salt.
  3. Shape the mixture into flat, round cutlets. Coat them evenly with breadcrumbs.
  4. Shallow fry the cutlets until they are crisp and golden on both sides.
