Dal Burger Patty

Healthy and flavorful moong or masoor dal patties for delicious homemade burgers.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked Moong or Masoor Dal, mashed
  • 1 boiled Potato, mashed
  • 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tsp Cumin Powder
  • Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the mashed dal, mashed potato, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, and all spices. Mix well to form a firm mixture.
  2. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat a little oil on a non-stick pan and shallow fry the patties on both sides until golden brown and crisp.
  4. Serve hot in burger buns with lettuce, tomato, and your favorite sauces.
